Fincher’s Service LLC (“Fincher’s,” “we,” “us”) is a landscaping and contracting company in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit this website, request an estimate, book an appointment, or hire us — and what we do with it. We have kept it plain, because you should be able to actually read it.
Information you give us directly:
Information collected automatically when you browse this site: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and how you arrived here. This is ordinary web traffic data, used to keep the site working and to see which pages are useful.
We do not collect sensitive categories of personal information, and we never ask for your Social Security number.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade your contact details to anyone.
When you give us your phone number, we may call and text you about your estimate, appointment and project. Message frequency varies with your job, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time, or HELP for help.
To be explicit, because it matters: we do not sell your mobile phone number, and we do not share it with any third party for that party’s own marketing or promotional purposes. Your number goes only to the service providers that help us deliver our own messages to you. Consent to marketing texts is never a condition of hiring us.
We share information only with the companies that help us run the business, and only what they need to do their job:
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to respond to a valid legal request, or to protect our rights, property or safety, or someone else’s.
This site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep forms and the booking calendar working, and measure traffic in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the booking flow may stop working properly if you do. We honor browser “Do Not Track” signals where our providers support them.
We keep customer records for as long as you are a customer, and afterwards for as long as we need them for warranty, tax, accounting and legal reasons — generally seven years for financial records. Enquiries that never became jobs are kept for a shorter period. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or render it anonymous.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, and we work with established providers who do the same. That said, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information such as full card numbers by text or email.
To exercise any of these, call or text 260-215-2410, or email [email protected]. We will not treat you differently for asking. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law, and we will honor those.
Our services are sold to adults and this website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
This site links to third-party services, including our booking calendar and our social media pages. Once you are on their platform, their privacy policy applies rather than ours.
We may update this policy as the business or the law changes. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed, and material changes will be posted here.
